Within its Industrial Business Unit, YARNEA is processing (cabling/twisting + weaving) a various range of PA6, PA6.6, PET and RAYON yarns for greige tyre cord fabrics.

YARNEA’s production lines include modern direct cabling/twisting machines in combination with performing weaving looms using two technologies: air-jet and grippers for producing tyre cord fabrics in 1, 2 and 3 ends.

In the cabling/twisting phase the yarn supplied in the form of cylindrical bobbins is twisted into 1, 2 or 3 ply cords according to the customer specification. For 2 ply constructions, direct cabling machines have became the industry standard. They offer a combination of low labor requirement, excellent quality & productivity and competitive costs.

In the weaving phase the cord produced by the twisting process is "woven" into a fabric. This fabric consists of up to 1800 warp cords stabilized by a lightweight weft yarn.

Test facilities are including fully equipped chemical and textile laboratories for the control of incoming raw materials, in-process goods and finished products. Tests are performed according to producer's test method or ISO standard.

YARNEA is ISO 9001: 2000 certified for design and execution of tyre cord fabrics having implemented and maintaining the quality management system as well as ISO 14001: 2005 for environmental management system and OHSAS 18001: 1999 for occupational health and safety system.
